Introducing Tomato Mountain Farm

Tomato Mountain Farm is a new vendor at the Geneva Green Market, coming from Brooklyn, Wis. As the name suggests, they specialize in heirloom tomatoes, bringing various forms and flavors of the fruit to the Market. The Farm, which is certified organic, was founded in 1993 by Chris Covelli. This farm developed over the years into producing not only organic vegetable crops but also jarred food products that were made from ingredients grown right on the farm. As they like to put it, “everything from seed to salsa is certified organic.”

Tomato Mountain’s goal “is to grow the highest quality certified organic crops to create a simple and consistent line of products. By growing nearly all of our ingredients right on the farm as well as paying attention to varieties, growing conditions, and recipes, we make products that can’t be found at any price, anywhere else.” Those products include Bloody Mary mix, salsa, preserves and pasta sauce, which will be an exciting addition to this year’s Market.
