Batavia Green Walk

Join us at Batavia’s new downtown Quarterly Arts Walk! MainStreet is partnering with the Batavia Environmental Commission to present Green Walk, featuring local artists (who work with recycled materials or environmental products), architects, landscapers, school eco-projects and more to raise our community’s awareness of ‘the art of going green.”The Walk features artwork and interactive demonstrations by area artists, local organizations and green businesses hosted indoors by participating downtown Batavia businesses. Be creative and develop an interactive display or hands-on activity for the public. Arbor Day activities are featured at Batavia’s City Hall from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, followed by the Green Walk from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at nearby downtown businesses. An event map is being prepared and distributed online with printed copies available at participating businesses and at Arbor Day. The Wilson Street bridge and sidewalks will be open for an evening of downtown Batavia Green fun!
